Renee Williams started her career as a bank teller, but after becoming a mom, she began working in the restaurant industry and fell in love with taking care of people and building long lasting relationships with guests. After working in various local restaurants, Williams was recommended by former coworkers to start at Cameron’s American Bistro in 2012, where she now serves as the general manager.

Over the years working with Cameron Mitchell Restaurants (CMR), Williams has learned the value of finding a career you’re passionate about, and for her, the culture is paramount.

“I am genuinely happy to come to work every day, and that is because of the way I am treated by every associate in this company,” she said.

She advises those interested in pursuing a career in hospitality to work hard and know their worth. “When you work for an excellent restaurant company, your hard work and passion pays off,” said Williams. “If you ever feel like you are not being valued where you are, you are not in the right place.”

Williams lives in Worthington, OH with her husband Donald and children Aiden and Addison. She loves spending time with her family and watching Pittsburgh Steelers football games. Her favorite CMR dish is Cameron’s Pork Chop & Clams.

As Cameron’s general manager, Williams is looking forward to contributing to the next chapter of the company, especially as Cameron’s approaches its 30th anniversary. “I am confident we can continue to deliver genuine hospitality for another 30 years,” she said. “My goal is to uphold the CMR standards and always strive to be better.”
